General membership with the Great Lakes Self-Defense Association (GLSDA) provides unparallel access to the self-defense community.  Through informative newsletters published quarterly to e-mail alerts and updates, GLSDA distributes lifesaving self-defense information to its membership.  GLSDA’s dynamic, interactive website creates an “information hub” for those who seek information and training.  This organization was created to network the public with trainers, businesses and attorneys who specialize in self-defense training. By harnessing the power of unity GLSDA creates one strong, single voice to speak with influence when protecting the right of self-defense and empowering individuals to live safer lives.

How To Join As A General Member 

You can join the Great Lakes Self-Defense Assocation by simply clicking on the below General Member Application/Brochure, print and mail to GLSDA or join on-line using the security of PayPal.

Instructor Alliance Member

The Instructor Alliance was created to facilitate a networking of instructors within the self-defense training community.  Instructors who join the Alliance Program receive a valuable marketing resource to showcase their services to the GLSDA membership, which in turn directly benefits those members seeking training.

Attorney Alliance Member

The Great Lakes Self-Defense Association has created a framework where attorneys can connect to the self-defense community.  In doing so, an attorney can obtain the latest information regarding use-of-force issues and self-defense.  The Alliance Program offers an innovative new marketing opportunity for law firms to showcase their services to the GLSDA membership through an informative directory

Business Alliance Member

The Great Lakes Self-Defense Association facilitates a new market where businesses can showcase their products and services related to self-defense to an active membership base.
